We were contacted by a data management company who had recently won a contract from a major organisation. This contract was critical to their growth but they had one more hurdle to cross. The client was due to send an examiner to the business within 7 days to clarify their compliance with the BS7799 security standard.

Although the company was not accredited the client required a certain level of compliance and they were concerned that their security set up would not pass the test.

CSITech responded within 24 hours and sent in an experienced security assessor who quickly zeroed in on the key areas of vulnerability and risk. This included areas of hardware, software and even physical security issues surrounding the Server room.

Within the week adjustments were made by the company including some minor building works to secure the servers and our assessor was back on site to assist with the audit from the client.

The client passed with flying colours and received their certificate of approval enabling the contract to proceed.
