Defence lawyers asked us to investigate the case of a man accused of billing fraud by his public sector employers. The case centred on a specific period of time where the prosecution said that he could not have been working.

A detailed investigation of his computer enabled us to ascertain when he was working, what documents were being created and edited and even how long documents were worked on. We were able to build a clear timeline of computer activity over the key period and demonstrate the type and level of work that was being done.

All this was accomplished even though most of the documents and history and been long deleted.

The case was completed successfully with a not guilty verdict.
