Company A is one of the foremost suppliers and installers of call centre systems in the world; they are relied upon my many major organisations to successfully implement and run these critical systems. Security is a foremost consideration for them to ensure that everything from sales data to research material does not leak into the wrong hands.

Having already been the subject of data theft by an employee they were keen not to have the breach repeated and we were called in to assess their current situation and make recommendations.

Following an extensive audit of their network security, staff procedures, policies and training we were pleased to report that the IT staff was doing a good job of implementing security. Some recommendations were made to prevent further data theft; security was tightened up on the wireless network which was easily accessible from the car park and also to provide training for staff to recognise social engineering attacks



Unlike some Security Consultancies we realise that security is not an absolute and do not make recommendations for the sake of it. The only way to achieve complete security is to pull the plugs from the wall and not to talk to anyone. A company must decide on its acceptable level of ‘insecurity’ and be cognisant of the potential risks.
